As a ful­ly DG licensed trans­port com­pa­ny, we ensure the safe trans­porta­tion of dan­ger­ous goods across the Bass Strait. 

Over many years we have unique­ly com­bined our research, invest­ment, expe­ri­ence and process­es to cre­ate dan­ger­ous goods trans­port solu­tions that proac­tive­ly address chang­ing com­pli­ance laws. With an exten­sive fleet of ful­ly com­pli­ant vehi­cles, we spe­cialise in the busi­ness to busi­ness move­ment of pal­letised, pack­aged, bulk haz­ardous mate­ri­als and dan­ger­ous goods.

  • BST staff are trained in han­dling, seg­re­ga­tion, and con­sol­i­da­tion of dan­ger­ous goods.
  • We have the abil­i­ty to offer cus­tomers ded­i­cat­ed full load and part load dan­ger­ous goods services.
  • Bass Strait Trans­port can car­ry all class­es of Dan­ger­ous Goods except for Class 1 Explosives.

We load pack­aged haz­ardous car­go dai­ly from our Mel­bourne depot to our Tas­man­ian depots and pro­vide bulk haz­ardous ser­vices for IBC and Iso-tank cartages.
